Perpetual Altas Molino bags 3 Inter School Volleyball titles

As a testament to the strong volleyball program of the Team Altas, three Perpetual Help teams reigned supreme in the Inter-School Volleyball Season 16 at the Altas gymnasium inside the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Molino campus recently.

The Perpetual University Molino Altas men’s volleyball Team of coach Eldee Zapanta defeated Cavite State U in five sets, 25-17, 23-25, 25-19, 23-25, 15-12, to clinch a second straight title in the Inter School Volleyball League Season 16 at the UPH Molino Gymnasium. Dennis Abrina
The Altas spikers of coach Eldee Zapanta outclassed Cavite State University in five sets, 25-17, 23-25, 25-19, 23-25, 15-12, to keep the senior title.

The Perpetual Molino Junior Altas followed suit by defeating Seven Seas Academy of Mambog, Bacoor City via straight sets, 25-19, 25-17, 25-22.

Christopher Ilano was adjudged as this year’s Most Valuable Player in the Senior Division, while Jouph Amamag-id was named MVP in the Juniors’ Division.

Meanwhile, the Lady Altas of coach Jon Jon Turing made it a triple-kill after beating Cavite State U-Cavite City Campus in five sets, 25-16, 25-19, 15-25, 23-25, 15-12, to also annex a second straight crown.

Charlotte Airah Totañes got the MVP award.

“I am really proud of my coaches and players. These titles are proofs that the volleyball program in Perpetual is strong. Congratulations to all of you,” said multi-titled Perpetual coach Sinfronio ‘Sammy’ Acaylar. 

Coaches Turing and Zapanta were former players of Acaylar in National Collegiate Athletic Association in the past years.
