Ai Ai’s new beginnings

WHILE last year proved to be very challenging for her, comedienne AiAi de las Alas believes there is a lot to look forward to this year, as she says she is most grateful for new beginnings.

Although the buzz is that AiAi is set to launch her career in public service (Congresswoman Ai?), she has neither confirmed nor denied this possibility yet. This year she is set to work with her idol, no less than Vilma Santos, governor of Batangas, in a film by Wenn Deramas, intended to be this year’s entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) in December.

AiAi credits apart from her family, friends, and colleagues in showbiz, her staff and kasambahay for taking care of her and keeping her grounded. She will do anything for their sake—to keep them protected.

Luckily, the opportunity to endorse Country Bankers Insurance Group (CBIG) came.

AiAi said she never had second thoughts about taking the role as CBIG’s spokesperson because it is something, which she can easily communicate to people about, given its commitment to serve the “masa”—farmers, fishermen, small entrepreneurs who may not have easy access to life insurance. Among its line of very affordable products include Alalay sa Buhay and CB Kalinga which is being offered by CBIG’s life insurance company, Country Bankers Life Insurance Corporation (CBLIC).

Just like Country Bankers, AiAi stands firm in its goal to help build the future of its clients and provide a steady ground as they take each step in attaining their dreams. Nothing is permanent in this world. And with life’s unpredictability, a life insurance helps us attain peace of mind for our family and loved ones, she added.Country Bankers Insurance Corporation (CBIC) offers a wide array of non-life products like personal accident insurance, fire insurance and motor vehicle insurance.

For inquiries on life and non-life insurance products, visit Country Bankers Centre, 648 T.M. Kalaw Ave., Ermita, Manila or call 523-8611 for life and 524-0621 for non-life.
