Lovi continues to excite audience

IsahRed-150x81Lovi Poe who plays Lovelia in the currently running Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas continues to amaze the audience with her nearly naturalistic performance as a woman who is struggling between death and love. Her character chooses love and with his newfangled husband who is only out to exact vengeance on Agatha (Chari Pineda) who has chosen Roel (Gary Estrada) to Jerry (Rocco Nacino) settles down in an unfurnished apartment after Roel and his mother Beatrice (Liza Lorena) send her away from home.

Conrad (Cesar Montano) expresses his apprehension about everything that has been happening to Lovelia, especially the marriage to Jerry. He wanted Roel and Beatrice to take Lovelia away from Jerry. This week we will see developments in the soap opera that makes it the best series to watch at night. Laurice Guillen is meticulous in making sure that it doesn’t develop into a nonsensical melodrama in which the plot meanders repetitiously. And I am glad its storyline goes into the direction in which we discover a lot about the characters. My only problem is Roel who seems to be blinded by his attraction to the scheming Agatha, as well as Lovelia’s insistence that Jerry has nothing but good intentions in their relationship. I hope the writers put more sense and logic into the minds of these two characters so that the soap won’t end up being a stupid melodrama.
