IsahRed-150x81GMA Network launched its newest human drama program that will keep the viewers on the edge of their seats. Bingit premieres on Sept. 21 after Startalk. Directed by Rico Gutierrez and Lem Lorca, the show features a highly-emotional re-enactment of the chain of events leading to the actual accidents or life-threatening circumstances as told by person involved. The program will present different stories of celebrities, popular personalities and ordinary individuals who have experienced near-death situations. Using the elements of interview, dramatization, actual videos and photos, the program will magnify how one’s decision coupled with the power of the human spirit can overcome any life-threatening situation. For its pilot episode, Bingit retells the story of June Abrozado, the lone survivor in the plane crash that killed former DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo on Aug. 18, 2012. What exactly happened inside the airplane in the last few seconds before the Piper Seneca plane crashed due to engine failure? Did June get a chance to call his loved ones? How did the Nuestra de Penafrancia of Naga help June escape death during that ill-fated moment? Set to breathe life to the role of June is no less than Kapuso actor Mark Herras. Bingit premieres Sept. 21 after Startalk on GMA.
