New Minstrels, Circus Band back in concert

IsahRed-150x81The New Minstrels and the Circus Band, two show bands that dominated the local entertainment circuit in the 70s, will once again be performing together in a very special show. This is The Circus Band and The New Minstrels Greatest Hits Reunion concert will be held at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center at the CCP Complex on Roxas Boulevard on Sept. 20. Produced by Viva Live Inc. and Redstone Media Productions, the concert series will also have other performances at the University of Baguio in Baguio City on Sept. 26 and at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu on Sept. 28. Prepare for an evening of RnB, disco, rock, funk, romantic ballads and other great sounds from the 70s like The Harder I Try, I Just Dont Want To Be Lonely, Celebration, Mr. Melody, One In A Million, Theres No Easy Way, Love The One Youre With, Wildflower and others from Motown, Santana, Manilow, Earth Wind & Fire and many more. Performing will be Hajji Alejandro, Tillie Moreno, Pat Castillo, Jacqui Magno and Basil Valdez of the Circus Band and Louie Reyes, Ding Mercado, Joey Albert, Ray-An Fuentes, Chad Borja and Eugene Villaluz.
