More O, Wow! moments
Oishi, the brand that made Oishi Prawn Crackers and Kirei famous, first launched "Team O" in 2012 with a line-up of celebrities as brand ambassadors. Apart from Oishi's fun snacks and interesting flavors, the Team O concept added a different twist to the campaign by bringing fun and excitement to different people. In 2013, Oishi leveled up its O Wow! factor with Team O composed of Ramon Bautista, Slater Young and Elmo Magalona who disguised themselves as regular public transport passengers in the Manila area. With hidden cameras, Oishi captured the expressions of the passengers surprised and delighted after realizing that the three celebrities were sitting with them inside the jeepney.
In the same year, Daniel Padilla, Oishi Marty's endorser and the newest addition to the Team O line up, also surprised the students in Culiat High School in Tandang Sora, Quezon City. Fifty Daniel Padilla clones were spread throughout the covered courts of the school as students were faced with the challenge of identifying the real Daniel Padilla.
Oishi turns 40 this year and continues to share funfilled moments for everyone. At Skye Lounge, W Highstreet Tower in Bonifacio Global City, the brand celebrated its 40th year with another level of excitement with friends, families and children. The presence of the Team O members--Ramon, Slater and Elmo--brightened up the day with Daniel Padilla later on coming also on stage. Other guests included Tessa Prieto, Pia Magalona, DLSU courtside reporter Ina Ongsiako and Georgina Wilson's younger sister Jessica Wilson.
The fun continued as everyone joined the race with participants divided into four teams - green, yellow, pink and blue. Brothers Phil and James Younghusband and model entrepreneur Mikaela Martinez were among the players who took part in the games. All teams received gigantic Oishi products after winning in the different games while the yellow team won overall. Every player in the winning team took home P5,000.
This 2014, Oishi's excited to bring more surpises and O, Wow! moments to everybody. Team O invites everyone to submit ideas on what should be the big surprise for this year. The chosen idea will be executed by Team O together with the winning mastermind in sealing the brand's 40th year.
