Special Report on the Economy

Are you a Dude, Boss, Chief or King?

Know the level of your manliness when you order at Burger King their newest made-to-order burger where you can choose 1, 2, 3, or 4 flame-grilled beef patties. The more patties you can handle, the manlier you are! A Single Stack is labeled as a “Dude”.  Have a Double Stack and you’ll be known as the “Boss”.  A Triple Stack promotes you to someone people look up to—the “Chief”!  And last but definitely farthest from the least is the Quad Stack, a burger only fit for the “King”!
Contenders on a roll  to become the ‘King’ in the BK Battle of the Stacks
The BK Stacks is made even more satisfying with melted American cheese in between, crispy bacon on top, and a generous smothering of the special BK Stacks sauce, all held together by toasted sesame-seed buns.
Last October 19, Burger King in Two E-Com Center at SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City launched the burger-eating contest called Battle of the Stacks Challenge. Contestants submitted on Facebook their video entries gobbling on King Stack. Ten lucky finalists were chosen as contenders for the battle and the man who can eat the most number of King Stacks in 15 minutes wins.
The challenge turned intense as the ten contenders struggled to eat the most quad-patty burgers. Different styles came out like standing while eating, dipping buns in water, or eating slow as opposed to eating fast. But only one was hailed the King, and the manliest of them all was Edward “The Burger Slayer” Garcia from Bajac Bajac, Olongapo City who won a whopping P50,000 in cash and crowned as the BK STACKS KING by finishing a total of four King Stacks which is equivalent to outstanding 16 patties!
Other contenders were Ferdinand “The Burger Lover” Sy, Jr. of Ermita, Manila, Andrei Ivan Nikolai “Burger Boy” Saldua of E. Rodriguez St., Quezon City, Raphael “Captain Burger” Marabut of Barangay Poblacion, Muntinlupa City, Michael “The Burger Monster” Quintana of Barangay Ugong, Pasig City, Mark Jovhel “Commander Burger” Luceno of Paco, Manila, Hermes “Burger Hunk” Dionella III of Barangay Rosario, Pasig City, Darryl “The Burger Guy” Marinduque of Tandang Sora, Quezon City, Joan “Burger Cutie” Yema of San Antonio Valley, Paranaque City and Xyrus Bonn “The Burgerminator” Linatoc of Sampaloc, Manila.
