Alaska Aces target 2013 PBA Governors’ Cup

By Jeric Lopez | May. 28, 2013 at 12:01am
Even though it is still cherishing its sweet Commissioner’s Cup championship win, the Alaska Aces are already looking forward to competing in the next Philippine Basketball Association conference which is the 2013 PBA Governors’ Cup.

The recently crowned champions, both the coaching staff and the players, will participate in a basketball camp in the first two weeks of July to further enhance their skills

In addition,  joining the Aces in that camp is their import for the third conference, Wendell McKines.

The team wants to work McKines out there for improvement and to see his game blend with the ones of his teammates.

However, Alaska’s trip to the United States will not be all about preparation for the Governor’s Cup.

It will have its championship celebration there in Disneyland and in various cities as well.

That will serve as the team’s bonus for its recent success.

Also, the Aces are swift in having four ailing players treated in time for the season-ending tournament.
