Manila Bay Seasports on

Starting guns will fire off the Manila Bay Seasports Festival at 8 a.m. today  at the Baywalk along Roxas Boulevard.

The  inspection of standard motors will be followed by eliminations for the dragon boat race along with the qualifying heats for the bancathon.

Paddlers from various clubs will pit guts and skills in the Manila Bay Seasports Festival, which gets underway today.


On Sunday, the dragon boat championships along with semifinal rounds for motorboat races will begin at 8 a.m. all the way to the final rounds.

To cap the two-day event, organizers will hold an awards night and mini concert at 6 p.m. featuring former FHM Girlfriend of the Month Alexis Navarro, the Go Girls, and the band 6-Part Invention.

The Manila Bay Seasports Festival is organized by the Manila Broadcasting Company and Star City together with the City of Manila, in cooperation with the Philippine Coast Guard,  Caltex, Ginebra San Miguel, Eveready, the Social Security System, MyJuiz, Cobra Energy Drink, M. Lhuillier, Silka Papaya Soap, Manila Ocean Park, and Cord Marine Epoxy.
