BoC fetes Clark top 5 exporters, tax payers

Clark Freeport — At least nine big companies and industrial firms were recognized on Monday as top exporters and taxpayers by the Bureau of Customs (BoC) Port of Clark District Collection 14 during simple rites held at the BoC office.

The top taxpayers include PTT, UPS, Lubwell Pilipinas, Trust International Paper Corporation (TIPCO) and Yokohama Tire Philippines Inc., (YTPI) while the top five exporters are YTPI, Phoenix Semicondcutor Phils. Corp. (PSPC), Nanox Philippines, L&T Int’l Group Phils. Inc., and HLD Clark Steel Pipe Co. Inc.

PTT was named as the top contributor of customs duties with P532, 821,063.75, followed by UPS with P468,378,182.00; Lubwell Pilipinas with P49, 341, 576.44; TIPCO has P33,888,002.00; and YTPI P19,207,280.59.

YTPI topped the list of top exporters for 2012, followed by PSPC, Nanox Philippines Inc.,; L&T Int’l Group and HLD Clark Steel Pipe Co. Inc.
