Jose, Wally at Araneta anew

By Isah V. Red | Mar. 06, 2013 at 06:02pm
These guys have all the luck. Not only they’re among the top attractions in the unbeatable and long-running noontime show, Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola have evolved into concert artists.

Not very many who started from nothing can rise to the stratosphere of stardom. And Jose and Wallly are a rarity.

They have proven they are no flukes on TV when they did Smart Araneta Coliseum on March 2 last year. The coliseum was filled with shrieking fans. No, they weren’t there for their looks as they are not in the league of the industry’s matinee idols. They were there to be entertained.

Comedy tandem: Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola

Once again they return to the concert arena via Jose And Wally Concert A Party For Juan And All! on Mach 15.

Their second Araneta show will double the fun and excitement as it features new acts, songs, costumes, and guest performers.

Jose and Wally don’t say that they’re not under pressure for this new gig.

The line-up of guest artists in Jose And Wally Concert A Party For Juan And All includes Vic Sotto, who did his own version of Adele’s “Someone Like You” during the first concert.

Also joining the show are rock artist Bamboo (Jose’s idol), and Gary Valenciano (Wally’s big favorite). These four artists’ production number is one of the show’s major highlights fans will look forward to.

Also in the concert are other big name celebrities like Ogie Alcasid, Jericho Rosales and Dingdong Dantes, plus Pokwang whose own antics is touted to bring the house down.

Latest child sensation Ryzza Mae “Cha Cha” Dizon is herself making a rare concert appearance with Jose at Wally.

Tickets to the comedy concert of the year are available at SM Ticketnet Online. For other details, call 911-5555.
