Foilacar Manila, the company which reinvented exterior paint protection in the country, recently announced its expansion by dipping its fingers into the realm of motorsports. Aside from sponsoring race cars which will participate in this year’s Drift competitions, Team Foilacar Manila is venturing into two-wheel motorsports by sponsoring two of the country’s champion riders;  Raniel Resuello, the 2012 Superbike Champion and last year’s Philippine NAMSSA National Motocross champion Kenneth San Andres.“ I will do my part to promote and support our local sportsmen. These guys have the skill and talent, but the lack of logistical support hinders their growth and development in their chosen field of expertise,” states Lester Codog of Foilacar Manila.

Dubbed as the “Wonder Boy” of Philippine Motocross, Kenneth San Andres will do battle this year riding his Kawasaki KXF 250cc motorbike. With oil and lubricants supplied by Motul, San Andres is focused on this year’s campaign. “I am ready to defend title, and I have practicing hard to maintain my speed and balance on the bike. I will do everything to win again this year,” says San Andres, who is also sponsored by Bridgestone, Fox, Oakley, Pollisports Plastics, Kia Fort Bonifacio Global City and Foilacar Manila. Early this month, San Andres dominated Round One of the Philippine NAMSSA National Motocross Series held at the SM Bicutan. The Wonder Boy clinched first place in the Pro Open and Pro 125 categories.

Last year’s Intermediate and Expert category National Champion in the Superbike Series Raniel Resuello goes to battle this year riding his 1000cc Kawasaki ZX10R. “I am blessed to have this great opportunity to compete in the Superbike with the full support of my sponsors. Clinching this year’s championship gets me closer to my dream of competing in the ARCC to prove that Filipinos are equally competitive in superbike racing,” states Resuello. He is currently conducting test laps and bike set up sessions in preparation for the upcoming superbike series.
